Hilary stood at the altar, ready to marry Myron, when an elderly man burst in, objecting.
Months earlier, Hilary met Myron at a party, charmed by his attention after a painful past relationship. They quickly grew close, and within five months, he proposed. Though her parents were wary of the rushed engagement, Myron won them over. However, Hilary soon noticed his materialistic side and odd behavior, including pushing for a prenup that favored him.
Days before the wedding, she found a divorce certificate with Myron’s name. He dismissed her concerns, convincing her to trust him. But on the eve of the wedding, she overheard a suspicious call. Myron claimed it was his ex-girlfriend, but she remained uneasy.
At the ceremony, a man—Myron’s estranged father—interrupted, revealing Myron was a con artist who married women for money. Police arrested Myron, exposing his fraud. Heartbroken but relieved, Hilary thanked Mr. Brown for saving her. When she later received a settlement, she gave it to Mr. Brown in gratitude.
