Stephanie’s peaceful Thanksgiving dinner turns into an unforgettable family showdown when she discovers her mother-in-law, Lucia, has been secretly selling her clothes online. The two had already been clashing over small household issues since Lucia moved in during renovations, but things escalate when Stephanie starts noticing her clothes disappearing. Initially thinking she’s losing her mind, Stephanie stumbles upon Lucia’s Reddit post where she’s selling Stephanie’s clothes, calling them “trashy.”
On Thanksgiving, Stephanie seizes the opportunity for revenge. During the dinner toast, she reveals Lucia’s “generosity” by dumping the clothes she’d “donated” to a women’s shelter, including items Lucia loved. The family, unaware of the truth, applauds Lucia’s supposed selflessness. Later, Lucia confronts Stephanie in the kitchen, where Stephanie shows her the incriminating screenshots.
